2003 Chevy Astro

Can the internal balance shaft on a 2003 Chevy Astro Van be re-set or replaced? If so what is the procedure and would it be expensive?

It shakes so bad at stops. I've had motor mounts replaced (broken again twice now, had fuel injectors cleaned, full tune-up replacing cables, spark plugs etc. This van is shaking the money right out of my pockets and I'm afraid it is going to break me : (

When you say "internal balance shaft" are you refering to the crank shaft? If so, they are balanced with the harmonic balancer. It's the item located behind the crank pulley.

How many miles are on the engine?
