I have had this same problem and I found it much easier to actually replace the hard to reach plugs from underneath the van. When I did my first tune up I was trying to replace the plugs through the cab interior. There were a few plugs I couldn't get to. I decided not to replace the hard plugs hoping that my misfire problem was fixed with the new plugs that I could get to. This problem ended up not getting fixed so I had to figure out how to get the remaining plugs out. I simply drove the van on ramps and reached them from underneath. You can't see them but you can get to them by feel.

Good luck, ts2109
