2001 Chevy Astro pass window

On the pass. Side window it goes up and down the middle third. When it stops a grinding noise could be heard. I want to know if it could be the motor or regulator, or even both. It does move so I'mnot sure what it is. Also how do I troubleshoot the problem? This came on with no warning. HELP THANKS!

Thanks for the info. Is it a hard job to replace the motor & what all do I need to do the job once the panal is off. Should I get rivots seperate or do they come with the motor? THANKS

Every vehicle is different. I haven't done one on your model. Mostly on fords. They can be very tricky if you've never done one. I do believe you can pop the panel loose with a screwdriver. Be careful to panel can crack easy. Good luck
