1999 Chevy Astro Just put on my 6 Fuel Pump

Very strong possibility you have trash in your tank and or the tank is rusting from the inside out. If either or both is the problem the only way to get rid of this problem would be to replace the fuel tank all filters and have the complete fuel system cleaned.

Have the tank inspected for trash and rust of the inner walls of the tank.

Also have the fuel pressure tested to see if the pressure is above specs, you could have a hot to hot short, which would prematurly burnout the fuel pump.
