1998 Chevy Astro no start

I replaced the fuel pump with a brand new one and the van started right away, but if the van sits for more than 4 or 5 days it won`t start just turns over

Welcome to the forum. Use a gauge and check fuel pressure. That spider fuel system is noted for problems. When it refuses to start, you might as well check for spark at the plugs.
