My check engine light keeps coming on after the problem has been fixed. The first time the code indicated misfire in cyclinder 2. Repleaced all wires and plugs and light stayed on but eventually went out. The light came on again with the same code and I again change the spark plug that was at fault. The light came on again and now it reads multiply misfires, problem with crankshat sensor and catalys bank a below threshold and bank b pending. What do you think.

Lets see here. It has Random Cylinder misfires, cat below efficiency and what exactly did it say about the Crank sensor? There are a few different codes that pertain to it, this info will help figure it out. As far as Cyl 2 continually misfiring, you most likely have a fuel injector that is going bad, that was a common problem with those engines (CPI fuel injection). If you have more than 1 or if the fuel pressure regulator is blown as well it could cause the below efficiency code for the cat. Definitly take care of the misfire or it could damage a new cat converter. There is an updated injector unit (All 6 injectors plus new pressure regulator) that I suggest using if you decide to replace any injectors.
