You will have to remove the door panel, (handle/armrest)window crank (if manual) disconnect rods going to lock and inner handle. Then the fun begins. You will need a good light, a long screw driver or similar, and helpful to have a small mirror. ( Seven jointed arms wouldnt hurt either).
Now look for the inner piece of your door handle (the one you use when you are on the outside of the vehicle.
Make sure first that the door is UN locked. You will see, attached to the door handle a short rod, with a slight bend attached to this handle, it may be difficult to see, as it will be between the outer door skin and the window track. Pulll this rod down.
This will open the door. If you are having difficulty doing so, it is likely that the door handle as it broke, stuck between open and closed. Knock it around a bit with a sturdy rod, to free it up. This may allow you to open the door, just by pulling on the inner door handle rod.
