I would remove the valve cover to check the condition of the camshaft you may have a flat camshaft lobe which will cause noise and low compression. Use a flashlight to check each lobe.

Hi Ken, I have a question. I have not had BMW fixed yet. I brought a temp car which last week gear box went bad and now needs new gear nox clutch and duel mass fly wheel I have no luck with cars
My question is about the BMW do you think carbon build up on intake value would cause the low engine power and the misfires and low compression as I am thinking carbon is stopping my intake value from sealing tidy?

Only if the carbon is so bad it hangs the valves open causing lower compression.
