My car battery had to be jumped about 4 times in a 2-week period. Then I replaced the radiator without getting a new battery. When I went to start my car for the first time after replacing the radiator it didn't idle right and then it cut off. This happened twice when someone tried to jump the relay. After that my car wouldn't start. Wouldn't even try to turn it over. I replaced the starter, starter solenoid, fusible link, engine fuse box, and the battery. Nothing. Hasn't even tried to start. I bought a new key fob, they said they programmed it, and still nothing. It has been 8 months of continuous effects and still won't start. My security light is blinking. So, I tried resetting the security. No luck. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I push the start button, and everything lights up like it normally would, then I push it again ( which normally would start the car) and all power cuts off and does not even attempt to start. Please help me. Nobody wants anything to do with trying to fix my car. Everyone is over it. But I really need my car. It's all I have for transportation, so I have been unable to work or get around. I have had to move in with a friend and can't drive my job as a delivery driver. Do you have any idea what will get my car to start again? Trying to reset the computer I unprogrammed my windows and doors, so now the won't roll up or lock. Please help!

I would make sure the battery cables are clean and tight. Next we should run he codes to see what comes up, Also You can try a hard reboot which is done by removing the negative side of the battery, with the cable loose from the negative side of the battery, hold it to the positive terminal for 1 minute this will discharge the memory capacitors in the BCM and PCM allowing the system to reboot. This should reset the alarm system. With the security light flashing the engine will not crank over.

Thank you! I'm going to try that right now. I've run the codes before and it said something about the wiring, I think. I'm going to put the computer on it again and see what it says. I will let you know what it says.

So, I disconnected the negative cable on the battery, and I took out the two fuses that it says to take out to reset the ECM on my 2007 Lexus ES 350. I waited about 15-20 minutes and then reconnected them and put the fuses in in the security light was still blinking and of course the car will not start. Are there any other recommendations on how to get the security light to go off on my car?

Did you try the hard system reboot? You need to remove the negative and touch it to the positive terminal to discharge the memory capacitors. Let me know.

My security light is still blinking. I took the negative terminal off the battery and waited about 20 minutes. I also took two of the fuses that were mentioned to take out. I got back in my car still had the security light blinking I did it again and it still has the security light blinking. I know that it won't start with the security on how do I get the security to go off?

Also, when I push the start button the first time everything lights up like it is supposed to, the dash lights come on, the steering wheel comes out, it beeps like it's supposed to right before I hit the button for a second time to start the car. But when I hit the button again for it to start all the power shut off. When I push the button for the second time which should start the vehicle, it doesn't, instead there is a double-clicking sound and then all power shuts off, while my security light is still blinking. It does this same pattern of events every time I try to crank my car. What do I do to get my car to start?

We should do a CAN scan to see what codes come up, you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a guide to help:

and

Here is one for about $99.00 if you need it:

Let me know what you find.

Okay, we should do a CAN scan because it sound sike the main body ECU has gone out. Here are instructions I found on how to reset the system,

Close all doors, hood, and trunk of the vehicle.

Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "on" position, but do not start the engine.

Press and hold the unlock button on the key fob for two seconds.

After two seconds, release the unlock button and then press and hold it again for another two seconds.

After two more seconds, release the unlock button again. You should hear the doors lock and unlock to confirm that the system has been reset.

Please go over this guide and report back.
