Car will crank but not start

Is there any security or theft lights on or flashing?
If so, try a spare key or if you do not have one, try cleaning that key where the pellet is and try again.
If there is no security issue, listen if the fuel pump runs when you first turn the key to run, before you turn the key to start. The fuel pump should run for about two seconds. If not, check the fuel pump fuse and feel or listen if the fuel pump relay is clicking or not when you first turn the key to run.
Check all of the fuses, if the fuel pump does run or if nothing helped so far.
If the check engine light remains on or flashes, you may have to have the trouble codes read to see what the problem might be.
