Car stop automatically after entering pool of water

Each time it rains or the car enters into water it stop automatically and without doing anything after some time of waiting for about 30 minutes it will start again, this can be frustrating I have tried some local mechanic non of them can give me the answer to the problem. What should I do and thanks

The best answer without seeing the car is:
Try leaving a can of WD-40 in your car.
When it happens again, spray the WD-40 on the Sparkplug wires & coils.
This will take out the moisture.
If it starts right after that. Then (at least) your wires need replacing.

I would suspect a sensor to be malfunctioning and water is causing it. The cranksensor is at lower portion of engine so that is what I suggest you look at. Check and ensure the connectors are not contaminated by water and have corrosion indications.
