My car starts just fine idles fine but no matter how long you let it warm up it stalls when you put it in gear and as soon as you give it gas it shuts off. Now if I start it then give it gas enough to keep it over a 1000 rpms for ten to fifteen minutes then I can let off the gas slowly and it will idle again on its own and not stall until the next time I start it. Any help is appreciated.

Try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and IAC hole with choke cleaner. if it continues check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. See link.

Hey DIRTYDIBZ,

It sounds like it could be a vacuum leak as well, please follow this guide and get back to us.
