Car seems to be in limp mode

First off there's a wrench illuminated in the middle of the speedometer. The check engine light is off. I got 2 fault codes a p2104 and a p2112

Those are throttle actuator codes, check the wiring connector by unplugging it. If it seems okay I would replace the throttle actuator.

I checked both of the connections the both looked good and seemed to connect smoothly. started the car and pressed on the accelerator and the engine idled up about 200 RPM. The engine light came on so I checked the codes a retrieved codes p2104 and p2112. The same codes as the last time.

It sounds like the throttle actuator or throttle position sensor is bad and needs to be replaced. That's where I would head next.
