Car runs hot?

Okay. So, my check engine light is not on and I just got an oil change 3 weeks ago. My car still tends to run hot after the Ford house did an oil change, new O2 sensors, and a new cooling fan. And it still runs hot, why is that?

Hi,

The first thing I would consider would be the engine coolant thermostat. It may not be fully opening which will restrict coolant flow. Has that been replaced? Also, and don't laugh, is the heater working correctly? Does it overheat if you are driving at highway speeds? When it does begin to overheat, does the cooling fan turn on?

First, check the engine coolant level when the engine is cold. If it is full and the thermostat is original, that is what I would suspect next.
