When transmission is shifted into gear the engine loses power?

My car does everything right in park including rev's, when I put her into gear there is no power and will not do anything.

Hi,

When you place it in gear and it does nothing, does the engine rev as if it is in neutral? Also, have you had the can-bus system scanned for trouble codes? CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, all the computers and modules are tied together via a few wires. If you scan the CAN, it will identify problems regardless of what module is it stored in.
