Car not starting

I bought this vehicle, bought new starter and fuel pump. Did the cylinder head and it got served. Also replaced the carburetor and no fuel is coming through. What can be the problem? Wiring and fuses were also checked by an auto electrician.

If you are not getting fuel then you either have a clog in the line or the lift pump cannot produce any pressure.

Below is the process from the manual on how to do this test on your engine.

They mention injectors and clearly if your engine is a carb then you can ignore that part.

However, I can't remember the last time I checked pressure on a carb engine as it needs minimal pressure so I just take the line to the filter off and crank the engine with the line in a bucket to see if you have flow and decent pressure. If you do then the filter is clogged or there is a pinched line.

If not then I would just replace the pump. Just because it is new, doesn't mean it is working. Let us know if you have other questions.
