My car shut down while driving but still had all lights. Tried to restart it and it wont crank over. Starter has power but will not come on and the fuel pump will not come on. Had it in the shop for three days and they said it was my security system but they did not know what part it was. Is there a way to over ride my security system so I can get it started?

No, it can't be overridden. I hate to say it, but your best bet is a dealer that has the proper tools to check where the problem is coming from.

I hate to ask this, but have the main fuses been checked in the power distribution box under the hood?

If it is relate to the security, it needs to be checked by a dealer. Since both the starter won't engage and the fuel pump isn't working, it could even be related to the auto shut down (ASD). Has you mechanic checked to see if there is power to the starter solenoid when the key is in the start position? Has the starter relay been checked?
