How often should I check my car's headlights and taillights to ensure they have not gone out?

Hi,

As far as checking, it would be a good idea to have a helper check them with you every week or two. The thing with lights, there is never a specific amount of time that they last, so one could fail at any time.

What I can tell you is if, for example, you have a headlamp fail, it is a good idea to replace both sides. When one fails, the other is usually close behind.

Let me know if you have other questions or if I can help in any way.

Take care,

Joe
