Hi,
This could be many things. Unfortunately, we are guessing until we get the codes out of it. If you don't have a code reader then most parts stores can pull them for you. However, if you are willing to invest in a code reader, it will pay for itself over the years if you perform most of your repairs. If you don't do some of your own repairs then it is not a good investment.
Let me know if you can get the codes and we can go from there. If the car does not start then the transmission range sensor could be the issue but is the gear shifter stuck in gear or that moves it just doesn't feel like it changes? Either way, we need the codes to limit this down. Thanks.
