Car compression ratio suddenly went down

Hi Team, i have not used my vehicle for around five months, when i tried staring it did not start, recharged battery, then also same issue. finally had to tow down to service center and they are claiming that compression ratio is down suddenly and we need to open the engine to find the exact fault.

Good morning.

Yes, low compression can cause a no start. it could be from burned valves, piston damage or engine timing. it does need to be inspected internally to find the failure.
