Is it okay to have A/C on in the car wash?

The inside of my car started smelling like chemicals.

Hi,

It won't hurt to have it running. To help prevent the smell from entering the vehicle, set the system on recirculate. That will move the air that is already in the vehicle and shouldn't allow air from outside from entering.
