Cannot change the clock or reset channels on radio

Hi, I can't alter the clock or reset/save channels on the radio. The CD player, however, works fine. The car was recalled for an airbag issue and since it was returned to me, I have been unable to use the radio. The company who did the work say it is nothing to do with them. I know that the battery had to be disconnected. Any ideas?

Can you get a picture of the radio? Does it ask you for a code or do the buttons just not respond to you when you press them?

Also does the radio work by changing the stations and you just cannot program the set channels?

I would agree that the recall did not cause this issue but you are correct that they unhooked the radio to do that recall. When the radio was powered down, it may have caused the glitch.

I would do two things. First unhook the battery and touch the cables together and let them sit for unhooked for 30 minutes.

Second if that does not work, I would contact the service manager at the dealership and tell them what happened. If it were me, I would at least offer to look at it free of charge and go from there.
