Hello,
Yes, it is easy enough for you to do in about a day possibly two in your garage at home, but I would recommend against putting one your vehicle at all. Adding a turbocharger or supercharger to your engine puts enormous pressure into the combustion chambers and is only supposed to added to a new, healthy engine, and, usually, one with a built short block. At a minimum I would have forged pistons and at least I beam, preferably H beam connecting rods and a forged crankshaft for an application like this. Forged valves for the long block would be good. Of course then you would have to have the entire rotating assembly balanced otherwise the engine would shake itself apart going down the road. I can tell you this from experience, as I added a supercharger to my Mustang GT with right around 150,000 miles on it and blow a hole right threw the top of the number four piston. Also, you will have to have a tune, put on your vehicle's PCM to upgrade the fuel map, probably going to need bigger injectors, and a more powerful fuel pump, an upgraded MAF, and spark plugs will need to changed every 7500 miles. So you see adding a turbocharger or supercharger isn't just about them itself, there is a lot of design and upgrading to a forced induction engine.
Thanks,
Alex
