I recently had both of these sensors replaced because of the code my check engine light is giving. Even though they were replaced the light is still on and the engine is still idling rough and there is a loss of power. I'm not doing well financially so I can't take it to the dealer, but it's stressing me out hard not being able to figure out what's wrong. Since it's a newer car I was wondering if it was a programming issue that only a dealer could fix.

First we need to know the exact fault code number. Next, be aware no fault code ever says to replace a part or that one is bad. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis. First we have to look for wiring and connector terminal problems associated with that part. There is only about a fifty percent chance, when a sensor is referenced in a fault code, that it is the cause of that code.

Also please include a detailed list of the symptoms and any other observations or clues you're aware of.
