I was wondering about how long it would take someone with good experience but no knowledge of this model to replace the camshaft position sensor? Along with its connecting wire running under the lower intake, it goes deep down and I know I am about to be opening a can of worms on this one.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

The biggest issue is that it is behind the timing belt cover. There are two of them, so make sure you get the right one.

As far as time, flat rate calls for 1.1 hours. If you have never done it, I would figure 2.5 hours just because you will be unfamiliar with removal of everything.

I attached a picture of one of the sensors and how it is located. I circled it in the picture. Picture 2 shows parts and labor

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,
Joe
