1996 Seville blower motor/fan R&R

1996 Seville with Northstar engine. 133000 miles. I'm replacing the blower motor/fan assembly. Need some tips on cutting the metal housing, in order to remove the assembly--and then reassembly to seal it properly. Have other members gained any experience in performing this task?

got to drop the front of the motor, dont cut the housing
