I have a 1993 cadillac seville sts with 159,000 miles and am wondering what the typical cost of replacing the alternator would be? I recently moved to Vegas and do not have any contacts and would like to avoid getting screwed when taking it to a shop. The car died in my garage and so if I tow it somewhere they have me hostage. Or is it something I can do myself? Thanks a million.
