If your motor is not working. Then for now you can run some power wire from your battery then splice the wireing connected to your window motor find out which of the wires is acceptable to power by touching the copper in each wire when you find the rigth one then connect the wire from the battey to the wire on you window motor.I think you have to have a ground too. But If that doesnt work for that quick minute then you need a new window motor.

Oor find a wire that has power to it already an splice that wire an run a little line from the working wire to the shortage wire. IF you have a shortage doing it htis way can tell you if its a short or you need a new window motor

There are only 2 wires to the motor, if the motor is bad it doesnt matter if you hook power and ground to it it wont work

heres a test you can preform, turn your key on to run the window, with the door open and the dome lite on operate the switch. Does the dome lite dim at all? If it does the motor is bad if it doesnt the switch is bad. If its the switch, hit the switch hard with your finger repeatitly. It may work
