Someone broke my steering column in my 1992 cadillac deville trying to steal it.I replaced the steering column,now the lights comes on but the car will nit say anything.What can this promblem be?Could it be the neutral safety switch or what?

Chances are high that the column you installed has a different VATS key value and is not recognized by you vehicles theft system. You would need to replace the ignition cylinder and keys(by your VIN), transfer the cylinder and keys from original column, or transfer VATS module from vehicle the replacement column came from.
