1994 Cadillac Concord water pump

i removed my water pump and cannot put it back..what am i doing wrong

It has a locating tab that is different width, and only goes in one way. It is the one that has the half circle indent in it. If you can look into the cavity, you can see a cast in dot in one of the 'windows', that is where it references. I am not sure off the top of my head, where it is in respect to clock position.
