I've had the ets off light and check engine light on in my 97 skylark for almost a year now. I've had it checked out at 3 different places, and no one seems to know what is triggering the light to come on. I had the oxygen sensors replaced. You could have that checked, but my ets light and check engine light are still on. I was told to not worry about it. It's some kind of computer misfire I guess. They said to not worry unless it started to having drive problems. But yours might actually mean something. You might want to take it somewhere and at least have a diagnostic check done and then decide if you want to spend the money to fix it or not. I'm not expert. Just a thought. :D
