This should be right in the front of the engine not far from the radiator on the driver's side. There areshims you can buy or should have come with the starter when you replaced it. Take the outer bolt out and loosen theinner and slide 1 shim in an dretighten everything. This has to be done one at at time to get the correct distance to stop the wcreeching/grinding noise you are current ly hearing. This will shorten the life of the starter if it is kept up.
