Had the fluid replaced in the rear differential, about a week later now it will lock wheels up. Sounds like the noise is coming from the joint where it comes from the rear differential and the other goes to the transfer case

The rear end needs to be flushed with GM Versatrak fluid.
1. Fill it up.
2. Drive in figure 8's for 5min.
3. Change fluid again.
4. Start vehicle, place in drive with foot on brake. Rev engine to about 1500 rpm and hold for 30 seconds.
5. Drive vehicle in figure 8's for 5 min.
6. If concern still exists, the rear end will need internal repair.
