My car keeps shutting off while I am driving, after it does this sometimes I can wait a minute and it will start but sometimes I have to wait a while. What could be causing the problem?

Welcome to the forum, when the vehicle refuses to restart, have helper crank it, while at check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Also check for any possible codes.
