I have a loud rattling noise that seems to be coming from the passenger side engine compartment, I thought it was bearing noise so I erroneously, changed the idler pulleys and the belt tensioner pulleys but to no avail the noise is still there. Let me preface this by saying the noise goes away under throttle, the noise is only heard at idle, and doesn't seem to effect the drivability of the car, could this be an issue of the supercharger? Or worse a connecting rod? Bearing?

Make sure the heat shields are all tight on the exhaust system.

Let me know what you find. Also, make sure the insides of the catylatic converter hasn't come loose by tapping on it with a rubber mallot.

The harmonic balancers are notorious for causing the noise you describe. I replaced mine (it was LOUD) and it solved the noise problem.
