I have a 1993 Buick Le Sabre with 209,000 actual miles. You can be going along and it just dies and then sometimes it takes 25 to 30 minutes before it will start back and othr times it will start right back. I have been told it was the Crank Shaft Postioning Sensor. My question is. Where is it located at, is it hard to change and does it take a special tool to change it. Please help my car done this to me on the interstate doing about 70.

Sorry for the late reply.

The crank sensor should be behind the crankshaft pulley. To remove, remove the belt, safely raise and support the vehicle, remove passenger side front tire. There may be an inner fender lining that you have to remove also. You have to remove crank pulley, 28 mm socket for nut removal.

Any time your working under a vehicle there are safety issues, safety is your responsibility.
