I know nothing about replacing headliners but my wife is real handy with fabric. How are headliners replaced? Is the material stretched over the roof insulation (prepasted) and still on the car? Do you just purchase the fabric with foam attached and replace the whole thing, insulation and all. A dumb question I know, but if i know the procedure I feel I can do it. Thanks . ken

The material is glued to the shaped headliner fiber board outside the vehicle then installed when dry.I dont believe a padding is used as insulation, just the fiber board itself is the insulation, but the headliner will need to be removed from the vehicle to properly glue it down and get it smooth.
