I bought a used 1997 buick le sabre limited. I had it checked out at Big-O tires and oil changed before letting my son in law drive it 2000miles from L.A. To Al. 100 yrds from his destination, the car conked out while driving, would not restart. Local mechanics found loads of oil in exhaust. What would cause this?

Oil scavenge system, crank ventilation bad.
Also since its at a shop, have them check out the valve seats on the cylinders, also you may have bad rings, best thing to do is take it in.
