1996 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 300k+ miles

I'm not too familiar with computerized cars...will a bad water pump make the car not start? Or should I be looking for something else?

your car will still start with a faulty water pump .. i don't advise driving it very far though .. if it won't start ..please supply the symptoms .. ie. not turning over when turn ignition key .. turning over but not firing up ???
