A short time ago I had the lower intake manifold gasket replaced. Soon after this the car's idle has been irratic. At times the car idels fast enough to move it along at 50 mph without your foot on the pedal. The fast idle is sporatic and usually occurs at first start or if the car has set for 8 hours . It may also start normal then increase idle as you drive. The service engine light comes on and goes off. I had the code read but by the time I got to garage the light was off and the car was acting normal. I was told it seemed as though there was low voltage at one time to the tps. I have taken the rubber tunnel off unplugging all sensors one on top one in front by air cleaner and the tps. I found that when I started the car with these unplugged it didn't rev up. Does that indicate a bad tps? what are the signs?
