we took our car 2001 buick centry with 80,000 miles to the repair shop, but they are not sure what is going on with it. It has a strong gas smell all the time, even if you leave it sit all weekend and then pull it into the garage, we had to pull it back out of the garage because it had our whole house smelling like gas. there is NOTHING what so ever leaking from the car anywhere.
Need you help kindly,

Have the evaporative emission-control system check for leak, check canister filter if it clogged.
check the vapor delivery line / (canister purge line) from the canister to the fuel distributor.

* An evaporative emission-control system actually functions as both fuel-tank venting system and emission-control system.
