Thanks for your help. Glad I didn't do that, I would have been upset! Especially since they made a point to tell me that ". It may or may not work. They knew it wouldn't work, just as well as you did". Actually ended up changing the resistors on the old cluster, which fixed the original problem. You would think that GM would have known that was the issue. Obviously charging a customer $600 to install a new cluster is alot more profitable than spending 2.00 on 6 new resisters and some solder. Two more reasons to absolutely despise dealer repair shops! Thanks for your help.
