9I just got a 94 buick century from a used lot, and the check engen light comes on every time you try to take it over 50 mph or hit a hill at 45+ mph and quickly slows down. The more you drive it the lower the speed to make the light come on. The trans fluid has little red to it. And the car will not go over 58 mph? What is going on with this car?

A stressing daddy

Check engine light on is an indication of trouble codes is stored in ECM and you have to get them as that should indicate to troubled area
check fuel pressure
check it for tune up
check exhaust flow and catalytic converter
