1992 Buick Century Turns off while driving

1992 Buick Century 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic ? miles

Why when I am driving does the car turn off, and when I put it back in park it starts right back up again like nothing happend?

Intermittent problems can be hard to track down. You need to rule out something. Are there any codes? Is the fuel pressure ok? How long since it had a tune-up?

Usually on something like this, the first thing I think about is, maybe your losing the rpm signal, intemittently? I couldn't be sure without trying some testing.

Well I bought a code scanner and the results were no RPM pulses are present during engine off testing and TPS sensor high voltage. Can you help
