I have replaced my BSI Unit in my Peugeot 206 1.4 lx 2003reg,

1. The original BSI unit in the car when I bought it was fine when it came to starting the car but the windscreen wipers didn't work neither did the central locking.

Note: I did have to change the battery as the one in it was flat and didn't hold charge.

2. I changed the BSI unit with another and the windscreen now work as does the central locking, but the car now won't start. I turn the key to try and start it ticks over but won't start fully.

So now I have no1. BSI which can be used to start the car but wipers and central locking don't work. No2. BSI wipers and locking work but won't start.

Welcome to 2CarPros.
Not surprising that the replacement BSI doesn't let the engine run as it is the part that stores the security information about the keys, fobs and the immobilizer codes. To get the replacement to operate you will need to have the security information in it removed and your existing items entered in as the correct keys and fobs. Either a dealer or automotive locksmith should be able to make the changes, it isn't something that is a DIY option as you need factory security module access.
