1999 Peugeot 206 Two Wheel Drive Manual 120000 miles

When I got the car the central locking worked fine but now when I lock the doors the lock on the boot just growls and it can still be opened when the other doors are locked. Do you know how I can fix this? Or if I have to take it to a garage if it will be expensive? Thanks.

It is probably just sticking due to a build up of dirt. Take some WD40 and squirt it all over the lock and operate a few time. Should clear up your fault. If it doesn't and you take to mechanic. It won't be an expensive repair
