The rod behind my brake pedal is leaking fluid. why is this?

Hi Marvin,

The brake pedal connects to this rod that you are seeing and that goes through the firewall and connects to the brake booster which is directly connected to the master cylinder. Most likely this is the component that it ultimately leaking. Unfortunately you will need to take it apart to be sure. Here are the master cylinder installation instruction you have requested. Here is a guide to help you step by step with instructions in the diagrams below to show you how on your car.
