1995 BMW 520 Touring Steering shake?

1995 BMW 520 Touring, 2.0, 125000 miles

I have four new tyres, balanced and tracking/alignment done and still I have a shake in my steering at 6o mph which then disappears at 7omph. What can it be - shocks?

Check the thrust arm bushings. If they show signs of leakage, they will require replacement. By the way, the bushings are fluid filled.
