1995 BMW 535 Starting

This BMW has been sitting for about 3 months without running and when I tried starting it recently, I could get it to start.I just cranks but wont start.I tried starting fluid abd checking my spark plugs but none of that helped. It was running fine before I stopped using it when gas shot up. What could be the problem?

It is a 530 not a 535. The problem could be anything, have you access to scanning software? If not, you are going to need it to isolate the problem.

I don't have access to the scanning machine but I can try and get one from a friend. In the meantime what other basics would I check as far as this problem goes?Thanks for you help.
