Battery tested twice, found good, however when I try to start my car on, it does not turn on, while all lights came on the dash, sound good, etc. Good, after waiting a little bit or touching the battery contacts with a piece of metal and trying again, car start on with no problem at all. How can I make sure is the starter that is causing the problem and that is time to replace it?
Does this sound to you like it is a starter problem? Thanks.

I do not think it is the starter, they usually fail in a catastrophic fashion. The issue may be in the drive away protection(referred to as EWS) and will require a scan of the system with the proprietary BMW software to help pinpoint the problem. Do you have more than one key and have you tried it yet and if so does it do anything different?

I do have two spare keys, But I never use the other one to start my car on. However I am going to try using my other key to see if does work and In addition to this I will take my car to the shop on monday to have run a computer diagnostic to determine the problem. Thanks.
